El Rinconcito is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Nampa! I have taken my family and friends there to eat and no one is ever disappointed! The service is wonderful, the food is delicious, and very close to authentic! Menudo every day is a big plus for me, as I love Menudo, and it is delicious here! I highly recommend El Rinconcito!

Ok. It's been a while. Morning in Nampa. Sound of the train is actually kind of soothing.
20 in our party. Ok. So the family likes to gather large every now and then.
Boom! Waitress with the face. I'm sorry you came into work on this Sunday morning. It doesn't look like you want to be here and included in sharing a happy time with other humans who would appreciate you generously for coming in.
I like the old school feel. But I don't recall eating with fingers in them ol Mexican movies. Finally, some utensils. Please don't put them in front of the four two year olds.
Anyways, the waitress made me not want to order. And the meal that was ordered was not so great.
I'm sure my attitude would have been up if I hadn't reflected my servers attitude.
Sorry if a large discreet party came in on your Sunday. -

My husband and I are very picky regarding our Mexican food and this place is excellent! It is owned and operated by the same family for over 30 years. It's true authentic food. Their fajitas are the best I've had in the valley and their salsa is hot!
Our waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions! I love coming here and if you haven't been, definite need to go! -

Good Mexican for Idaho.
If you couldn't guess from the stark location and the spartan interior decorations, El Rinconcito isn't an upscale dining experience. It is, however, a solid place for basic Mexican food made with love.
The homemade chips and (quite picante) salsa get the meal off to a good start, although the chips needed a boost of salt. Featuring flautas, nachos, quesadillas, a burrito/chimichanga, and a tostada, the fiesta platter is a ton of food. With good quality strips of meat complemented by peppers and onions, the tasty fajitas come with the appropriate accompaniments and tortillas.
As befits this type of establishment, El Rinconcito has no hard alcohol or fancy wine list. Just the domestic and Mexican standard drink, beer. Think Bud, Corona and Tecate. No designer brews here to confuse you.
If you are in Nampo with a hankering for Mexican food, look no further than El Rinconcito. -

After hearing such high reviews we decided to go into the restaurant to try it. We got to the restaurant around 5:30 PM we ordered shortly after we sat for a very long time waiting around 615 we finally decided to ask them how much our Tea, chips and salsa would cost because we weren't going to be waiting any longer. The cashier told me that it was going to be six dollars and change I paid her the six dollars and change which any other restaurant after waiting that long would have apologized and sent us on our way. Super disappointed in the service and wait time. The restaurant wasn't busy at all at the time or I would have understood or even if one of the young ladies would have said something to us while waiting but neither of these things happened and for those that read and wonder how difficult our food choices were. We ordered 3 tacos, and cheese enchiladas.
